What connections can you make to your own life?

Book: Lucy repeats her story 4 times and everybody still did not believe her that she encountered Aslan. My connection: I always tend to repeat my story 4 or 5 times until everyone either understands or believes me.

Book: Lucy and Aslan disappeared into the woods among trees. My connection: When we  are in a supermarket or in any public place, I wonder off and loose track of where my parents are.(It is a bit scary)

What other places or people could you compare this story to?

The central chamber reminds me of a dungeon.  It is all spooky, with carving in the wall and dwarf lead the way through the chamber with a torch.

What other books or stories might you compare to this one?

I compare this book to the book: Harry Potter for many reasons. In the book Prince Caspian there are talking animals, and in the book Harry Potter there are talking creatures. Another reason is when there were angry voices in the chamber, it reminded me of Voldimore.

What other characters or authors might you compare to this one?

I compare Susan to the Grinch, because she is a very stubborn and mean it took her a really long time to believe that Lucy encountered Aslan and that she was not actually dreaming. The Grinch is a stubborn and mean person that needs everything to go his way.

What is the most interesting or important connection that comes to mind?

The most important connection that comes to mind is Dumboldor compared to Dr. Cornelious. The look pretty similar, they both have long beards and they seem very wirzad like.

How does this section relate to those that came before it?

It related to those that come before because they are back in the chamber, with the Dwarf leading their way. They also encountered Aslan as well as Prince Caspian and his troops.

Gods and Godesses

Wow! The presentation that we put together was amazing. You can't imagine how good it was. I liked it even though I was the second to last one, and had to wait so.. much. Though I was extremely nervous, I did a wonderful job. My whole class did a wonderful job. I can't pick one favorite. I would do it again, but not to many times. I think that because to wards the end it will become sorry but a bit boring. Can't wait to do it today!

I couldn't wait till I learned how to comment. At the very beginning, you must fix the settings. Of course you must watch what you say because everyone in the world can see your comment. the person you commented to must agree and post it, or if it is inappropriate, he or she can reject it. always say positive things. Check for grammar an of course spelling. Make your writing very fun and not boring because if it was boring no one will read it. don't just say anything and make your comment meaningful. I mean not just " great job" I mean a comment from your heart. Don't lie. I bet you will love it. keep those things in mind. Please comment on mine.

prediction chapter 6

In chapter 6 my prediction is that when he arrives home, he will get grounded. Another thing is that he also might get suspended for maybe like 3 to 4 days. That would be awful. Plus I don't think that he will keep his note, instead I think that he will rip it apart and he will throw it away as soon as possible. His dad will not see the letter. the principle might call him and ask him all about rob. oh no what if he asks him for the letter. Rob would be dead meat.

About his rash I think that if he thinks only about Sistine it will run off of his skin. At least he might just leave it alone and not touch it. I hope that that is what will happen. at least I hope it won't get on Sistine because then they're earl friendship will get destroyed.

befriending

From the last chapter I read, I do think that rob and Sistine are eventually going to become friends. to me , I think that Rob is going to start the friendship because he was not thinking about his rash his mother nor about Norton and Billy, and he kept the suit case full of thoughts closed. Guess what rob was thinking only about Sistine. It might take a long amount of time, and it might not be as easy. I think that because they don't talk to each other much plus all the students think she is unusual. Just the click of the clothes that she wears makes them think she is quite usual. They still don't click quite yet. At the beginning the first thing that rob might do is try to click hang out together a bit more, have play dates. Soon they will click together I think for sure. They will make a great friendship once they get closer and create a real friendship.

Awerness month

April is listening and awareness month. One time I think that I should have listened better is when my mom asked me to get her car keys. I think that because that day my mom was in a huge hurry. Instead I went and I took a shower and then I wore my clothes. When I was done, I went  to get her the car keys, but I realized that she had been gone. I said to my self, Ooh no! I guess my mom is a bit mad at me. I  should have listened to her better. Next time, I told her I promise you that I will do what ever you ask me the minute I tell you. My mother was not to proud of my behavior, so then I got in a bit of trouble. I will always listen better. Remember to always listen, especially in April. It is listening and awareness month.   

"How the author has engaged me."

Today we read the first two chapters of the book The Tiger Rising by Kate Dicamillo. What captured me was when in the book it said that he was walking in the woods, and he stops by a gas station. The gas stations name is (Beauchamp.) In that gas station there was a cage that had a tiger in it that kept on sprinting back and fourth. Once Rob saw that, i think that he got fritened. Iwonder what he feels. I can't wait to read the next chapter ( 3) and see what happens.......

I predicit that in chapter three, he will run away and go back to the neon star. Ipredict that because I think that he felt frightened. I wonder what happens........
